Any time you talk about Women's Mixed Martial Arts in this area, you can't help but to think of Amy Coleman. Coleman has been in the cage with a who's who of fighters in this area. With wins over Brandy Davis,Katie Dorman, and Shanna Young it's no reason that she is at the top of her division.
Coleman is coming off two straight losses, but still holds a record of 5-2 in the cage. She is the former Valor Fights Bantamweight Champion and has only been fighting since 2012. With all the talent she has seen in the cage, she is well on her way to a stellar professional career.
Training with Shield Systems in Knoxville, Tennessee they are definitely the gym to get her to the next level. Shield System already has a UFC fighter under their roof in Scott Holtzman. Holtzman has not yet fought in the UFC, but with a training partner I'm sure Coleman will be in the best shape she can be, and lay everything on the line in this fight.
A few things make this an interesting. One, is that Coleman is a beast on the feet and can end the fight with just one punch. Two, even though Conatser has a losing record, every female fighter always puts it out there to make a statement in each and every fight. Conatser is not to slept on, she could very well pull out a victory in this fight. Coleman needs to be ready for anything that Conatser throws at her and I believe she will be.
Before she can take the next step to the professional level, she will have to get through Briannah Conatser at V3 Fights on November 22nd at the Marathon Music Works in Nashville, Tennessee.
